Digital Media, New Tools and Technology

Learners were to develop a video, either a screencast or an animation, and add a closed-caption file to the video. They were to identify an instructional need, develop a screencast or animation, then publish to YouTube and include edited Closed Captioning. Critical elements required included:
  • Description of learning/instructional goal,
  • Minimum 5 scenes
  • Published instructional video with listed Creative Commons license
  • Edited Closed Captioning.
